Barry Harley, director of the Tamworth Country Music Festival, is no stranger to spotlighting incredible talent at the perfect time. His decision to showcase Five-Time Golden Guitar Nominee Jayne Denham as the headliner for last Saturday night’s Girls Night Out LIVE was a huge success, sending the Tamworth stage into an international stratosphere. With special guests Kaitlyn Thomas and Ella & Sienna, and six-time Golden Guitar winner and 2023 Female Artist of the Year at the CMAA Golden Guitar Awards, Amber Lawrence, as the surprise host from the Toyota Park Stage. It was the first sold-out VIP show for the week, drawing over 10,000 attendees on-site and via the live stream. Jayne's performance continues to garner acclaim from industry peers, concert attendees, and fans, even days after the show.

“WANTED,” the first track from her previous Golden Guitar-nominated album, had visuals filling the venue with theater-sized video displays transporting the audience to dusty plains, rich red dirt, and towering mountain ranges that we call home to the desert and heart of Australia. Embodying the relentless grind and resilience of our desert is reflective of the unstoppable force and everything that is Jayne Denham.

Jayne Denham, no stranger to collaborations, has had various number ones with her industry peers. Two of her latest releases include “Are You Ready For This,” with Hurricane Fall, which landed on the Top 10 Tamworth Hottest Australian Country Hits, Top 40 Australian Airplay Chart, and No. 6 on the Country Thunder Top 30 Chart; and her album title track “Moonshine,” with Colt Ford, that included placements in CMT USA, CMT Official Top 30 in Australia, No. 5 on KIX Country, and CountryTown Hot 50.

The roar of a wide-open throttle coming from the side-stage, on a mission to entertain and contribute to Jayne’s high-energy performance, the Hurricane Fall boys (Pepper Deroy and Jesse Vee) enter and thrill the crowd with their dirt bike arrival in true “Stunt Double” style, jumping right off the bike and entering the stage for their electric performance of “Are You Ready For This.”

Colt Ford’s country-rap performance takes a stranglehold over the crowd, transporting fans into the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, while boomeranging their latest hit single “Moonshine” via the live stream. This marks the powerful convergence of American country music and Aussie country music on the global stage.

Jayne’s captivating performance also commemorated the pre-save/pre-order release of her Moonshine album. If you pre-order one of the merchandise packs, you will be entered into a drawing to win a bottle of Jayne Denham’s Moonshine, soon to be available in Australia. The full-length album, Moonshine will be available on Friday, May 3, 2024.
